Qualisys strengthens its resources by hiring a familiar face

Qualisys North America ( announced this July that Scott Coleman has rejoined the company as a full-time employee to further develop their growing portfolio of engineering and entertainment/new media motion capture. Scott Coleman comes with a wealth of knowledge in the industry in various application areas including clinical gait experience at Baylor University Medical Center, orthopedic expertise as a biomechanist at A.I. Dupont Hospital for Children, and animation and virtual reality proficiency due to a concentrated background in data mining and analytics.

Another perk to the hire is Coleman’s previous experience working for Qualisys part-time while with Baylor University. “He knows the ins and outs of the company’s products and processes,” states boss and colleague, Dan India, “He has vast practical knowledge in all aspects of [motion capture], he can solve any problems associated with mocap and will be a huge asset to our team as we grow into virtual reality and animation market.”

Now, two months in, Scott is pursuant in his role as the Technical Sales Manager in Medical Sciences and New Media for the territory of North America and says he,“looks forward to using my experience as a user over the past 20 years to help others reach their goals.”
